How a P2P option differs from a house book

A house book earns when you are wrong. Here the other side is people in the pool, and the percent is on the pair before the click.

Counterparty

On a house book the other side is the broker. In P2P it is other accounts. Demo and real balances stay separate.

Price

The quote is not rewritten to fit the result. The chart on this site and the terminal show one feed.

Payout

The percent does not appear after entry. On FX and metals it is lower, and that is on the pair card.

The other side

On a house book the broker stands opposite the client and earns when the stake is wrong. Here the other side is other participants. The quote does not become an internal house price.

Demo and the real account are kept apart. A virtual balance cannot be moved onto the real one and cannot be withdrawn. A real stake locks only on the real account.

Price and the moment

A house book can show a storefront price that lags the chart. On this platform the page chart and the terminal read one feed, and expiry is counted on the server.

Entry is fixed at your click, not at someone else’s. If a rival entered seconds earlier at another price, your Higher or Lower is not compared with that price.

The percent before the click

On a house book the payout sometimes appears only after entry, or depends on how the trade closed.

That figure says what arrives if your side is right. It does not say the side will be right. A loss takes the whole stake.
